Yes, your contacts will stay in your phone or email account unless you choose to delete them. When you switch to a new phone or email provider, you can usually transfer your contacts over easily. No, your contacts on WhatsApp cannot see which other contacts you have on the app. WhatsApp respects the privacy of its users and does not provide a feature that allows others to see your contact list. Your contact list is private and only accessible to you. **

WhatsApp contacts are displayed as numbers instead of names because the app uses phone numbers as unique identifiers for each user. When you add a contact on WhatsApp, it automatically syncs with your phone's contact list and displays the contact's phone number as their identifier. This allows for easy communication and ensures that you can easily connect with anyone who has WhatsApp using their phone number. Additionally, displaying contacts by their phone numbers helps to maintain privacy and security by not revealing personal names to everyone in your contact list. **

Online contacts and real-life contacts can have different qualities. Real-life contacts often involve face-to-face interactions, which can create deeper connections and a better understanding of the other person. On the other hand, online contacts can provide a wider network of people and the ability to connect with individuals from different locations and backgrounds. Both types of contacts can be valuable in different ways, but the quality of the connection ultimately depends on the level of engagement and communication in each relationship. **

However, if they are simply not responding or syncing with a device, there could be other issues causing the problem. It would be best to troubleshoot the contacts or seek assistance from a professional to determine the exact issue. **
